Light emitting diodes(LED's) are the obvious future of the lighted sign industry. When you compare the price and benefits of an led sign to a neon or light box sign, and the advantages will make your choice clear.

  • An LED sign is much more durable than a light box (glass bulbs) or neon sign (glass tubes), due to the fact that there is no glass involved
  • LED's have a life expectancy of 100,000 hours. That's up to 4 times that of a neon sign, and 50 to 100 times that of a conventional incandescent bulb sign
  • Both neon or a light box sign (incandescent) use approximately 3-4 times the power (wattage) to produce the same illumination of LED's.
  • Neon & light box signs generate 3-4 times the heat of a similar sized LED sign generating the same illumination
  • An LED message center is much lighter, generally weighing considerably less than a neon or light box sign (easier to hang & handle)
  • LED's provide a brighter light, resulting in higher visibilty for your message or display, with greater detail. An LED window sign (semi-outdoor) is bright enough to be seen, even in the brightest direct sunlight.
  • A programmable scrolling LED message boards can display multi-page messages and multiple messages, that can be modified as needed. A neon or light box sign can only illuminates a single, fixed message, and can never be modified.
  • An LED Sign can create eye-catching movement that attracts viewers/customers attention. A neon sign provides little or no movement, despite the high cost and frequent maintenance.
